Birth of the New Humanity
(excerpt from Earth in Transition by Chandra Easton)

The birth of a new civilisation is not undertaken lightly, nor does it occur without great stress, strain and heartache. If we are to evolve into a species which lives in a compassionate communal embrace with each other then we need to understand that certain traits of separatism, selfishness and the like must be cleansed before we can truly call ourselves Children of the new Age of Aquarius, the Age of the Heart.

In all of Creation there exists a multitude of diversity, races, species, temperaments and degrees of evolution. In the new Race which is being birthed upon planet Earth common Aquarian principles of loving-kindness and genuine brother/sisterhood will be fundamental to all people. Those who do not wish to live in harmony with their brothers and sisters of other races, religions, creeds, or colours will find that they are no longer permitted to reincarnate upon Earth in the years and decades to come. We have come to the end of the Piscean Age and with it vital choices await humanity.

The Great Melting
Fast Track to the New Millennium

Early in the new year, on the 5th February 2000, an Annular Solar Eclipse occurs in the 16th degree of the fixed sign of Aquarius, the Water-Bearer. The impact of this Eclipse cannot be underestimated for a couple of reasons.

The first of these reasons is the significance of the position at which this Eclipse occurs. Certain zodiacal degrees hold particular relevance. The Zodiac consists of 360 degrees divided into twelve equal segments of 30 degrees.

Of these thirty degrees, which make up any one sign, there are three degrees which hold greater potency - 0 degrees; 15 degrees; and 30 degrees. These degrees mark the beginning, middle and end of every sign. Similarly, within the sphere of consciousness which is our Solar System, certain points hold greater potency than others. These points are indicated by the Sun's entry into:-
0 degrees of the Cardinal signs which occurs around 21st - 24th of March, June, September, December. This marks the Equinoxes and Solstices, known esoterically as the Star Gates. These times during the year herald the birth of the seasons, are inherently times of seed-planting for new growth.

15 degrees of the Fixed signs, which occurs around 5th - 8th of May, August, November, February mark the Midpoints of Equinoxes and Solstices, also known as the Cross-Quarters. These degrees of the zodiac are points of deepest concentration and are indicative of the death of all things impermanent.

30 degrees of the Mutable signs, which occurs around the 20th - 23rd March, June, September, December are known esoterically as degrees of Alpha and Omega. They herald the culmination of all that has been undertaken and thus the Resurrection into new Life.

In all of Creation there exists Birth, Death and Resurrection. The microcosm Earth reflects the Macrocosm of the Universe. Life follows this unswerving pattern, moving rhythmically through these never ending cycles of Life. When the Sun conjuncts these degrees of the Zodiac every year Birth, Death and Resurrection in their many forms, take place both in Nature and in humankind.

The Solar Eclipse on the 5th February falls within one degree of the most potent 15th degree of the fixed sign, Aquarius. According to the eminent astrologer Dane Rudyar, in his book "The Astrology of Personality", focus upon the 15th degree of the Fixed Signs, indicates points of maximum intensity through which Cosmic energy flows. These degrees are known as the:-

"Four Gates of Avataric Descent"

which are symbolised by

the Bull, the Lion, the Eagle and the Angel,
which guard the four corners of the Universe.

These sacred Portals, through which the Will of God may enter our Solar System, can be likened to closed doors which, when opened under certain conditions by the energy of a Solar Eclipse, or other planet/s or configurations serve to attract, concentrate and radiate the most needed energies of transformation, transmutation and transfiguration to Earth and Her people. Through these points of Avataric Descent, the Power and the Will of God may be experienced.

Early in the new millennium, on the 5th February, 2000, this sacred portal will open during this Solar Eclipse, as the Avatar of Will and the Avatar of Justice, radiate Cosmic Forces including the Will of God, towards humanity and the Earth. Potent Hierarchical and Avataric energies which enter through this Aquarian portal, from 5th February 2000 onwards, will affect all nations and humanity as a whole.

This will mark the beginning of the end of life on Earth
as we have known it.

An Eclipse in this degree during such a transitional stage between the Ages is of enormous significance when attempting to understand the imminent changes facing humanity. The 2000 Solar Eclipse heralds the Resurrection, the lifting of the Children of the Heart into the Bosom of the World Mother, there to await the coming changes & the lifting of the Children of the Mind to other realms and other states of consciousness

The second reason why this Eclipse is of great significance is because its shadow falls across the Antarctic continent, with the point of Greatest Eclipse within 350 kms of the Magnetic South Pole. The continent of Antarctica houses some of the greatest power on this Earth in its terrain of ice and snow. Severe dislocation of this region will occur in the twelve - eighteen months immediately after this Eclipse which will, in the end, cause a massive rise in global sea levels.

Within two years the oceans will have re-claimed a significant portion of the land mass of the Earth. The period during which this occurs will be remembered in future times as The Great Melting. By the Winter of 2002 in the Southern Hemisphere, and the Summer of 2002 in the Northern Hemisphere, the greatest damage will have occurred.

Radical times such as those in which we live attract radical solutions. Earth has been damaged, raped, abused and misused in so many ways. Her natural resources have been squandered; Her animal and plant life destroyed and desecrated; Her oceans and waterways fouled; Her air polluted; Her land poisoned and misused. Earth will no longer stand by and allow this abuse to continue. Therefore massive re-adjustment will occur in many ways. Melting of the ice-shelves of the Poles is just one way in which balance will be redressed. Those individuals, countries and nations who are responsible for the environmental damage to the Earth will pay in full.

As a species we must learn to live in harmony and peaceful co-operation with the other Kingdoms of Nature. We are not placed upon this Earth to dominate, but rather to co-operate.

This lesson has remained unlearnt so far in the history of humanity's occupation of Earth. The current and future changes will serve to teach humanity the need for harmony, balance and peaceful co-existence, not only with all other forms of life, but also the planet itself.

The effects of this Solar Eclipse will be carried by the sea currents through two mighty bodies of water, The Pacific and the Indian Oceans. Carried by the Antarctic Circumpolar Current through the Southern Ocean and then via the Pacific and Indian Oceans, the breakaway ice floes will severely disrupt life on Earth as we know it. According to current scientific predictions such a rise in sea-levels in not expected in the immediate future. However there are many changes currently happening upon the face of the Earth which the scientists have struggled to comprehend.

The polar caps, North and South act as storehouses of Time. When such a major disruption as this occurs, time and all civilisation will move through what could be termed a fast-track to the new millennium. The Eclipse of greatest magnitude occurs within three hundred and fifty kilometres from the Magnetic South Pole and such positioning cannot be ignored when considered the fate of humanity.

Global warming; substrata activity caused by tectonic movement; nuclear activity; and influences from deep space are all indicated in this transitional phase of rapid meltdown of the Southern Polar Cap. People of the Southern Hemisphere, especially the countries of New Zealand, Australia and South America will be the first nations to register these momentous changes.

The Basin of any Ocean contains the seed of all life within that Ocean. Through the ocean currents of the South-East Pacific Basin (off the Southern West coast of South America) tides of oceanic destruction will ensue. The food chain, from the smallest plankton to the largest whales will be severely impacted by environmental degradation to such a degree that the capacity of the ocean to sustain life will become severely comprised. Scientists believe that all life began in embryonic form within the watery beds of the oceans. Similarly life can also cease as a result of the spread of toxins within the gene pool. The risk of toxic contamination spread, via the food chain. to the population of the islands of the South Pacific and the South American continent is very great. Disasters of epidemic proportions can creep almost unnoticed into a region via the food from the ocean.

Principles for the New Age of the Heart

In order to align ourself, our families and communites with the new Aquarian impulse which is permeating our Solar System, we would be well advised to strive towards living our lives by the following principles, which require a repolarisation and a movement:-.

away from self and towards inclusiveness
away from self and towards group endeavour
away from self and towards globalism
away from self and towards selflessness
away from self and towards heart-felt economic policies
away from self and towards self-realisation
away from self and towards humanitarianism
away from self and towards collectivism
away from self and towards the common good

Safe Havens for the
Children of the Heart

In all these changes which have been mentioned, many of which will come about, the true Children of the Heart will be guided into the Heart's embrace of the Lord Maitreya, Who is the Risen One the fifth and future Buddha of Earth. These Children of the Heart will gather together, guided by invisible hands and voices to places of safety upon the planet.

Irrespective of where you are physically at the time of earth changes, if your heart belongs to the Lord Christ, then you will be enfolded in His protective embrace. A network of those who serve the Light of the Christed Ones has been forming for some time upon our Earth. During the time of the Great Transition, and beyond, these lightworkers, disciples of the Christ will create a safety net, in order that the Children of the Heart will be drawn into Lord Maitreya's loving embrace.

"The Children of the Heart are those people who shall inhabit the Earth after the Great Change has occurred and will be the new humanity on Earth in the New Age. They will come from all countries, races, and all walks of life. They will look to Maitreya as their Teacher; They know that Maitreya has become the Spirit of the Heart and the Lawgiver of the Heart on the planet, here at the beginning of the Age of Maitreya (the Aquarian Age), Maitreya, the Risen one, the Bodhisattva, is the Water Bearer."
