The Old Salt
Here we have hornpipes and songs of the sea. From the 27 songs that tell the story we have traditional shanties, songs of piracy, battles at sea and stories of the whaling days. The one-hour show concludes with love songs of the sea from around the world. Instruments include bosun's whistle, tin whistles, crumhorn, classical and 12-string guitars, flute and small bass drum
The Old Salt Goes Inland
The 'Old Salt' begins with some very popular shanties and sea songs and then in 'How the Sailor Rode the Brumby' takes us inland to the days of steamers on the rivers and the river trade. Instruments used in this one-hour show include tin whistles, flute, piccolo and guitars
