Swanston Street in Melbourne was named after one of the early principals.  A subsequent owner, Mr Broughton, proudly introduced the rabbit for the pleasure of his shooting guests but requested them not to shoot more than 12 each.  A wonderful sense of history pervades everywhere on Kout Norien, from the long drive along a red gum lined creek to the old red gum slab wool shed.
