Construction of The Play Dimboola website began on 10 May 2003 with registration of the domain name www.dimboolaplay.com, and launching of the original website which comprised of a single page.

After that original launch date, a new version of the website was planned and constructed. The second, multiple-page version of the website was launched on the evening of 12 June 2003.

Design, layout and programming for the site was carried out by Christos Pavlidis.

In the current site, all the HyperText Markup Language (HTML) has been hand coded and it is cetified as conforming to HTML Version 4.01 (as per the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)). Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) have also been hand coded and have also been certified by the W3C.
