Interested in model aircraft ?
Looking for somewhere to fly ?
Want to meet other people with the same interest ?

OMAC Inc. - The Orange Model Aircraft Club - is your Answer !!!

The Orange Model Aircraft Club was formed in 1929 - Two years after the Lindberg flew  alone the Atlantic, and only one year after Charles Kingford Smith and his crew made the first hazardous aerial crossing over the Pacific. It was the dawn of aviation's Golden Age. The Orange Club was one of the first in New South Wales, but we are right up to the minute in interests and the planes we fly. The Orange Model Aircraft Club has run the whole gamut of models - from rubber powered jobs in the beginning through motor powered free flight craft and  control- liners to radio controlled aircraft today. Our members interests range from  pure survival ( Those are the Beginners ) to fast and exiting aerobatic machines and detailed scale replicas of particularly attractive full-size aircraft. Some of us are even  into the most difficult of all - Helicopters. In the Club you will find interesting people doing interesting things. Here you will find help and guidance if you need it. here you will find people who " Talk your language". Here are friendly people with a wealth of knowledge and experience, always ready to pass it on and share the experience of model flying with you. We have experienced instructors, and all our members are insured. We run four official contests each year for different class of pilots, and we go visiting other clubs around the region to see what they have to offer. Our greatest interest is Scale models and general Sport Aircraft.. All great stuff - why not join us at our flying field approx.thirteen (13) kilometres from Orange on the Forbes Road at Borenore Australian National Field Days Site We fly every Sunday afternoon, and newcomers are always welcome.
