Baby aliens, known as 'chestbursters'
by their violent form of hatching, are one of the most terrifying aspects
of the alien race- The hatching period in which they chew and push their
way through their host's chest, resulting in a extremely painful death
for their host. When hatched from humans, Chestburster's bodies typically
are long and thin, like a snake, only with a pair of front arms. Their
long heads are melded into the backs of their bodies, onlt to emerge later
on. They take only a matter of hours to grow, shedding their skin and losing
some blood several times beforehand.
Behavior
After hatching, all chesstbursters do is run away and mature. That's it. Run away.
Variants
Chestbursters always take a large section of DNA from their host and it is replicated in their adult form, resulting in strange adult aliens, like 'predaliens' for instance- A chestburster would have been required to gestate inside a predator. Also Queen chestbursters take longer far to mature- about 3 or 4 days.
