Sue and Don's journey to their way of life at "Dja Willam" has been varied but dedicated.
Don has maintained a close relationship with the earth through his early education in agriculture, his life as a shearer and, for the past 13 years, as a tipi maker. Don has been a writer for many years and is passionate in his search for spiritual and native understanding.
Sue has been a restaurateur, a promotions agent and a teacher. For the past 9 years Sue has been committed to promoting personal development, so it is easy to see that her passion is people and their personal journeys.
Sue and Don are inspired by native beliefs and the spiritual links that they see existing between all native people. They believe that healing comes through our acceptance of the wisdom of the tribal elders, be they native American, Australian, Asian, African, Celtic, or Norse.
