Students are prepared for Australian Music Examinations Board exams, or Australian and New Zealand Cultural Arts exams, or internal Academy exams. Students are encouraged to perform in the Wimmera Eisteddfod, and great emphasis is placed on ensemble work - learning to play together. In addition to traditional pianos in all studios and two pianos in the Ensemble Room, there are also electronic keyboards in most rooms and a music computer giving the students access to modern technology and providing lots of fun.
