Victoria is awash with gay and lesbian weekly newpapers that are a great source of information and advice. While it is hard to find a copy in Geelong, free copies are readily available in book shops and cafe's in the gay and lesbian precints in Melbourne.

Check out the cafe strip in Commercial Road Prahran including the Hare's and Hyena's bookshop located next door the gay and lesbian friendly "Prahran Market Medical Centre".
